Damage caused by Insert SIM Card:
>> Damage Software
>> Hardware Damage
* Due to the breaking point (VSIM, clock, reset, data and ground)
* SIM Reader Sudak unfit (damaged, corrosion)
* Power IC damaged
* CPU damaged
I will discuss start of DCT3
DCT3
In this type of mobile phone SIM card reader, stand alone or separate from the board, the improvement measures are:
1. check sim reader, whether there is damage in the legs
2. check sim connector interfaces on board, whether it forms or not, there is clear klau
3. check-point path to connect with what is not good
4. check its supporting components (resistors, capacitors)
5. check the voltage on VSIM (yellow line)
6. if not ok (no voltage) check the power ic (CCONT)
7. Last check CPU
DCT4-WD2
The difference here is that there are with EMI Filter DCT3 connecting Power IC / UEM with a SIM reader and SIM card reader directly connected to the board (soldered onto). Step-checking:
1. check sim reader and the legs (there is a loose solder)
2. check-point path
3. check EMIF, the jumper as shown above
4. if not ok, check UEM
5. last to the CPU
BB5
For BB5 itself exactly DCT4-WD2. Cases often occur in the EMIF problems.
